Play of The Week

Based on the actual accounts of two English Oxford academics,Miss Morisonís Ghosts recounts the paranormal events experienced
by Charlotte Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain in the gardens of the Palace Of Versailles, in France, one August afternoon in 1901.

The two women mysteriously find themselves back in time, witnessing scenes and people from the era of Marie Antoinette and
the French Revolution. They decide to share their experience when they return home, even though it endangers their attempts
to legitimise higher education for women in Edwardian England.

This play, by Ian Curteis, is based on what has been called 'the most authenticated ghost story of all time'.

It tells of the paranormal events experienced by two English ladies in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, France, in 1901.
